Healthcare — how we handle it, and why it is different
We do not actively recruit health and social care personnel in Nigeria for UK roles. Nigeria appears on the red list under the UK's Code of Practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel, which prohibits employers and agencies from actively recruiting from listed countries.
The Code does not stop individuals applying to employers directly, of their own accord. Where a Nigerian healthcare professional has approached an employer independently, we can support that direct applicant with documentation, credential verification and relocation preparation only — never as active sourcing on an employer's behalf.
For Ireland and other markets, healthcare hiring runs under a different framework and we will confirm the current position in writing before any engagement begins. If a partner needs healthcare volume from a non-listed country, we will say so plainly rather than take the brief.
From role brief to first day on site
You define the role. We handle everything between the brief and a prepared candidate landing ready to work.
We agree the brief, salary band, must-have certifications and realistic availability in the Nigerian market before sourcing starts.
Structured technical screening plus a spoken-English assessment. You see only candidates who have already cleared both.
Degrees verified with the awarding institution, professional body registration confirmed, credential evaluation arranged where you require it.
References, police clearance, medicals, passport validity and right-to-work evidence assembled and checked for integrity before submission.
Interview coaching, workplace-culture briefing and honest expectation-setting on cost of living, housing and climate — the things that drive early attrition.
CoS or employment permit documentation, visa application, biometrics, flights and arrival logistics tracked to a shared timeline.
Structured contact through the first months. Retention is the real measure of a placement, not the start date.
Screened before you ever see a CV
What you receive per candidate
- Structured profile with screening notes
- Verified qualifications and evidence pack
- Checked references

Built around two routes we know well
United Kingdom
Hiring under the Skilled Worker route.
- You hold the sponsor licence and issue the Certificate of Sponsorship
- We prepare candidates against the role's skill and salary thresholds
- English language evidence handled up front
- Full visa documentation and biometrics support
Ireland
Hiring under the Employment Permits system.
- Critical Skills and General Employment Permit routes
- Candidates matched to eligible occupation criteria
- Permit documentation prepared with the employer
- Relocation and arrival support for the candidate
Immigration rules, salary thresholds and eligible occupation lists change regularly. We confirm the current position for your specific role in writing before work begins.
We are open to agency and employer partnerships
Whether you are a recruitment agency needing a reliable Nigeria-side partner, or an employer hiring directly, the engagement is built around what you already have in place.
Agency partnership
You own the client relationship; we are your sourcing and compliance arm in Nigeria. White-label profiles available.
Direct employer
You brief us directly and we run the search end to end, working alongside your HR and sponsorship team.
Project & volume hiring
Cohort recruitment for a project, with mobilisation staged so arrivals match your onboarding capacity.
Compliance is the product
In international recruitment, the agency that cuts corners costs you a refused visa, a failed audit or a reputational problem. We would rather lose the brief.
No fees to candidates, ever
We never charge a work-seeker to find or apply for a job. Our fee is paid by the employer or partner agency. This is both UK employment agency law and our own position.
Ethical recruitment codes
We work to the WHO Global Code principles and the UK Code of Practice, including the red-list restriction on active health and social care recruitment from Nigeria.
Document integrity
Qualifications are verified at source and references checked directly. We will withdraw a candidate rather than pass on a document we cannot stand behind.
Data protection
Candidate data is handled under Nigeria's NDPA 2023, and shared with an employer only with the candidate's explicit consent.
What employers ask us first
No. We never charge work-seekers a fee to find or apply for employment. Our fees are paid by the employer or partner agency. This reflects UK employment agency law and our own ethical position — and it protects you from association with fee-charging practices.
For UK roles under the Skilled Worker route, yes — the employer must hold a valid sponsor licence and issue a Certificate of Sponsorship. For Ireland, hiring runs through the Employment Permits system instead, with no sponsor licence required. We will tell you which route fits your role and prepare candidates accordingly.
Not through active recruitment for UK health and social care roles. Nigeria is on the red list under the UK Code of Practice, which prohibits employers and agencies from actively recruiting from listed countries. Individuals may still apply directly of their own accord, and we support those direct applicants with documentation and preparation only. Any agency offering you active healthcare sourcing from Nigeria is putting your organisation at risk.
We verify academic credentials with the awarding institution, confirm professional body registration where applicable, arrange formal credential evaluation where you require it, and check references directly rather than accepting supplied letters at face value. You receive the evidence pack alongside the candidate profile.
Shortlists are typically with you within two to four weeks of a signed role brief. Total time to arrival depends on the visa or permit route and current processing times — commonly three to six months from offer. We give you a realistic timeline at the outset rather than an optimistic one.
Fees are agreed in writing before any work starts and depend on the role, seniority and volume. We work on both contingent and retained arrangements, and offer rebate terms on early departures. Tell us the brief and we will send indicative terms.
Yes. We handle both single specialist searches and cohort hiring for projects, and can stage mobilisation so arrivals match your onboarding and accommodation capacity rather than arriving all at once.
Tell us about the role
Send us a brief and we will come back within one business day with an honest read on availability, timeline and indicative terms.
Also hiring students?
We place Nigerian students into universities across 11 countries. If you sponsor scholarships or run graduate pipelines, we can help there too.
